Tackle academics and athletics with equal enthusiasm

Student-athletes at UL Lafayette enjoy success in the classroom as much as they do on the field or court. The Student-Athlete Academic Center ensures that all student-athletes have the proper academic, personal, and professional support systems in place to succeed academically.

It's YOUR time, make the most of it

Every second counts when you're a student-athlete, which is why we provide a place for you to get the academic services you need. Whether it's advising, scheduling, tutoring, or just a quiet place to work—we've got you covered.

It's about being more than an athlete

Being a Ragin' Cajun athlete is more than just being a student-athlete: they're leaders, they serve the community, and they support each other like a family. We honor our student-athletes for their commitment to these ideals every year at our Welcome Back Convocation.

Helping Student-Athletes Achieve Academic Success

Academic, personal, and professional supports are key components essential to college success. The Student-Athlete Academic Center is here to provide the resources necessary for student-athletes to attain the highest level of academic and athletic achievement by aiding student-athletes in obtaining a college degree through effective tutoring, monitoring, advisement/registration and mentoring.

The Student-Athlete Academic Center staff is responsible for fostering the scholastic development, progress toward graduation and total academic success of student-athletes. The staff acts as a liaison between student-athletes and the academic community to ensure student-athletes observe academic rules established by the University, the NCAA, and the Sun Belt Conference.
