Prospective Student-Athletes

We are so excited that you're interested in becoming a Ragin' Cajun! The University of Louisiana at Lafayette expects great things from all of our student-athletes, and Student-Athlete Academic Services (SAAS) is designed to provide the support you need to help balance your academic and athletic goals.

During recruiting visits, which are coordinated by head coaches and recruiting coordinators for each team, you may have an opportunity to visit with one of our academic counselors. The counselors will discuss pertinent information including SAAS support programs, academic policies, the University's general education and testing requirements, and so much more. Come with questions or let our professional staff walk you through everything we have to offer. Either way, we can't wait to meet you.
